Ahhh... Clark Terry, one of my absolute favourite trumpet players! I love this clip - absolutely fantastic plunger technique, and so much joy in his playing and his singing.

- Greetings. I am a trumpet player and composer based in London. I also own a trombone and euphonium. I write and produce music for film, TV and theatre, or indeed for anything if I'm asked nicely.
In case anyone's wondering, the trumpet is an example of a cylindrical bore instrument (i.e. it's basically a long cylinder which flares only towards the end), as opposed to, say, a cornet, which is a delicious ice cream treat.
